Our body needs nutrition in order to survive. body use these nutrient for energy, growth and bodly function. our body needs these nutrient in small amount and large amont. those that are needed in large amount are called Macronutrients. macronutrients have their own specific role.

protein is very important macronutrient for human body.protein is essential for building muscle mass. protein repair our body tisues and cells and also regenerate them.protein can also serve as a fuel source. protein provide the same calories as carbohydrate ( 4 Kcal per gram )
for your fitness goal you should take atlest 1gm protein per lbs ( 1kg = 2.2 lbs ).chicken breast, egg whites, lentils, chickpeas, whey protein are some good source of protein.
carbohydrates is sugar,starches and fibere which we can easily find in fruites, vegetables, whole wheat food and in many others food. carbohydarte is main source of energy. carbohydrate break down into glucose and our body use this glucose as a energy.
carbohydydrate provide us 4 calories per gram. oats, brown bread, sweet patatoes, banana, lentils, kidney beans, dairy product, are some good source of carbohydrate.
fat is also a very important macronutrients. fat produce some important harmones and our body also take energy from fats. fat also help us to protect our body organs. the most important thing about fat is that fat provide 9 calories per gram which is more then 2 time of protein and carb.
but we sholuld chosse our fat foods very carefully because there is four types of fat – trans fat, saturated fat ( bad fat ) polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fat ( good fat ).
healthy fat ( polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats ) can lower the cholesterole level in our blood. while unhealthy fat ( trans fat and saturated fat ) can raise cholesterole level in our blood. which is not good for our health.
olive oil, peanut butter or peanut, avocados, almonds, and flex seeds are some good source of healthy fat.
